Q. What happens if my vehicle is not drivable?
A. If the vehicle is not drivable, you can arrange to have it towed to our workshop and we can take care of the rest.
Q. Can I get a repair quote over the phone?
A. Unfortunately not. Due to the number of variables involved when it comes to vehicle damage, we need to see the vehicle to provide an accurate estimate.
Q. Do I have to contact my insurer? Or can you do it?
A. Yes, you will need to contact your insurer to inform them of the accident/incident. They will then provide with the necessary information needed to process your claim.
Q. Will I have to pay an excess?
A. This will depend on your insurance company and your current policy. Your insurance company will be able to provide this information for you.
Q. Do I have to get more than one repair quote?
A. In most cases no. As we are an approved repair to all insurance companies one quote is generally all that is required, however there are some circumstances where to quotes will be required. We will inform you if this is the case but generally you will only need one quote.
Q. Where is my vehicle stored?
A. Your vehicle is kept on our secured, locked and alarmed premises, under cover.
Q. Am I able to use a hire car while my vehicle is being repaired?
A. You will need to check with your insurer to see if a hire car is provided as part of your policy.
Q. Will you notify my insurer before the repairs are made?
A. After we have provided a quote for the damage to the vehicle, we will notify your insurer so they are able to inspect the vehicle. From here, once the repairs are authorized by your insurer work on your vehicle will commence and you will be notified.
Q. How will I know when my vehicle is ready?
A. We will keep you informed throughout the repair process. You are more than welcome to contact us at any time to enquire about the progress of your vehicle repairs.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept Visa and Mastercard, EFTPOS and cash.
Q. How do I select the right sized air conditioner?
A. To correctly size an air conditioner for a given area requires some site information including room size, window size, construction and orientation just to name a few. It is an important decision to get right. If the air conditioner is too small it won't adequately heat or cool the areA. If the air conditioner is too big it will be inefficient and expensive to run. Q. How often should I clean my air conditioner air filter?
A. If the filter light is flashing we would recommend immediately. Otherwise, for domestic situations once every three months and for commercial situations once a month.
Q. Is it worth fixing my old air conditioner?
A. Maybe/maybe not. Most times if the air conditioning system is more than 8 years old and has proceeded through life without regular servicing and maintenance it's probably more economical to replace than repair. The average life span for a domestic split system air conditioner that has been well maintained is typically 10 years.
