Q. Is my house suitable for a solar system install?
A. Most houses are suitable to have a PV solar system installed. The exception would be housed with slate or asbestos roofs.
Q. I have trees shading my roof - what effects will this have?
A. The system will still operate but will have reduced output dependent on the degree of shading. When our technician attends to assess and quote your installation (obligation free) for a PV solar system, he will measure the available roof area, check orientation + tilt then using the isometric sunny he will assess solar access and shade and prepare a PV designer report.
Q. Does the system require maintenance or servicing?
A. As with most investments, your PV solar system will require regular monitoring and maintenance to ensure it performs to its maximum potential. As a general rule, we would recommend servicing your PV solar system at intervals of 12 months. Additional cleaning may be required at more frequent intervals depending on certain environmental issues. Our technician will recommend the appropriate maintenance your installation requires.
