Q.Does the Termite Treatment process require an alteration to my property?
A. Treatment processes may require drilling holes through concrete paths, tiles, or pavers to inject Termiticide. If drilling is required, holes are placed approximately 300mm from the edge of the building and are drilled at 150-200mm intervals according to AUS Standards. All holes are resealed once Termiticide has been injected. Chemicals may also be placed directly into the ground through trenches around the perimeter of the premises.
Q.Will I receive a Free Service Period on my Termite Treatment?
A. Yes – In most cases a 60 months free service period is offered in conjunction with a “Full and Complete Termite Management Program,” unless a technician feels that it is not an available option due to the building’s construction or according to the treatment plan.
Q.Will my Termite damaged timbers be replaced?
A. Unfortunately both your normal household insurance policy and McKenna Pest Control do not personally repair or replace Termite damaged timbers. However, we are able to offer you a 5yr Timber Secure Insurance Policy through our Insurance Company–Rapid Solutions that will cover the repair and/or replacement of both structural and/or decorative timbers up to a value of $100k at a Cost $360.This Policy can only be offered in conjunction with a Full and Complete Termite Management Program–T&Cs Apply.
Q.Do you offer finance terms?
A. McKenna Pest Control does not provide finance options.
Q.Do you offer warranties on your products or services?
A. Yes! In Association with the chemicals Manufacturers, we are able to offer their respective warranties depending upon the Termiticide applied and the length of Free Service Period given.
Q. Are you available on weekends?
A. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays!
Q. How quick can you arrive?
A. Wherever possible, we can be at your door within the hour. If you have a time/date preference, we will always do our best to fit in with your schedule.
Q. What are the methods of payment?
A. On site, our plumbers accept cash, credit card or cheque. We also have finance options** to approved applicants. If you would like to take advantage of these, simply mention it on the phone to our friendly call staff.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes! We have $20 million dollars of liability insurance.
Q. What models or air conditioner do you supply, install and service?
A. We supply, install and service most makes and models of air conditioning and heating systems, including Braemar, Breezair, Kelvinator, Carrier, Lennox, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, Nec, Hitachi, York and many more!
